Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents include Dorothy Farquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox had studied for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. She was able to survive on a student allowance and worked part-time in order to make ends meet. Lennox, while studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy in her performance when compared to that of her classmates. She started to think about different options. Lennox performed flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to the group's appearance on I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. The singer was lead vocalist to The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began to work on her solo first album Diva that was released in the year 1992. It became a huge critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favorite soul jazz blues tracks from the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. This album is a companion piece to her Now I let it go... art installation, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first independent album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish politician, philanthropist and musician and singer. Following a modest recognition as part of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the duo known as Eurythmics during the 80s. Lennox launched her solo career with her first album Diva in the year 1992. The album was the inspiration of many hit songs like"Why" and "Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa her 1995 studio album contains cover versions of songs such asNo MoreI I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with the release of six studio albums on her own as well as a compilation.
