Ashley Jones graduated in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in Human Learning K-8 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her first job was in teaching Reading in Kindergarten and the 1st grade in Maury County. Brent Jones moved from UT Martin to Thompsons Station after she got married. Bethesda Elementary is where she started teaching 4th grade. In 1999 and 2000 she continued on to teach and earn her Master of Instruction from Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped off the teaching side when they welcomed their youngest son Baylor into the family in 2000. Ashley has dedicated the last 15 years to fostering the development of kids within her local church and in the local community. Ashley has been teacher and director at Thompson Station's Preschool and Student Ministry for the past 13 years. Ashley homeschooled her three children for 3 years while she was home. During their home schooling years the kids attended a home school tutorial in which Ashley also taught History to Kindergarten and 1st grade. Ashley loved being in the home with her children and she loved to teach her children. However, God made it clear that the time was right for their family to return to full-time. Brent and Ashley, who have five daughters. Silas Eliza and Cruz are both students at GCA. Baylor is a GCA graduated attends college playing baseball in UT Martin. Callan also a GCA graduate, is enrolled at Western Kentucky University. This is a very busy family, who love activities, fishing and hunting with their family.
